Marina,The Realms, The Outer World, The Middle World & The Underworld

There is the underworld where all the bad and evil dead go, and they are looked after by the bad or evil Gods, or in some cases the Gods are just mischievous. These Gods have no substance on the surface of Earth or any other inhabited worlds formed by the creators. In the Nordic myth hell is looked after by the sister of the bad God Loki, and her name is, Hel.

I have always been led to believe that the bad and evil Gods can be summoned to the surface by chants of various descriptions, but are only ever seen in apparitions and not in the flesh. I remember in a book by Denis Wheatley called the Devil Rides Out where the Devil appeared in the form of the Goat of Mendes. The thought that it could ever take place cannot be proved or disproved, but Satanism is a very old religion. There is the question though that if that was at all possible, then why has, God, never appeared in any form?

There is the middle world that we all live in, and I don’t really have to say much about the way mankind has abused it with his presence.
The realms, is the mythological worlds above the middle world that the Gods live in. What I am about to write about now is only my opinion. The Gods such as Odin, Thor, Zeus, Jupiter, live in the realms, and are alive today to those that believe. They were placed there by the creators to look over the world and the people while in its infant stages. Man wanted someone there to give him strength when in battle, and he looked to the Gods that were named by man.

People say even now when looking at the outside scenery or flowers look at what Mother Nature has done. The English are talking about a Goddess, there were many. The Goddess Jord, the Goddess Liber were both earth Goddesses. Days of the week, months and planets are named after the Gods in the realms. Some of the star formations are named after the Gods, and a few of our birth star signs are named after the Gods.

These Gods are more in our daily life than the one big God that everyone argues is the oldest. The oldest God known to man was, Ra the sun God, and he along with, Shu, the air God, and Tefnut, Goddess of moisture, rain and dew, gave life to this world we call earth.

In my stories there are higher beings than the Gods, they are the creators. They are as their name suggests the creators of the universe and all inside. We all have beliefs and who is to say that mine should not be respected. I believe that a person should believe whatever makes them feel good as our time on this earth is too short to argue the point.

The, outer world, and this is my favourite and is my own creative mythology. It is in both the Warrior stories and the Marina stories. It is a duplicate of the middle earth, but it is that grey area between the realms and earth. Unlike the middle world it is flat, and you can fall off the end. Whatever is in the middle world in the way of seas, land and mountains, will also be in the outer world but on a smaller scale. The only thing in the outer world that is not in the middle world is the Spire of Time, and that is the start of the Stepping Stones to the Gods. Time and distance have no meaning because to be there you are either immortal or a being.

The beings in the outer world are those that that the twenty-first century does not need any more. The beings there are Trolls, Fairies, Elves, Goblins, Flying horses, and the mighty Griffin.
Trolls
In my stories the Elves and Fairies are the same size as mortals, why you might ask? You might also argue that they are no bigger than a large doll that a child might play with. I would argue that this is my imagination and my fantasy world. There is an Elfdom Castle were the good Elves live, and the Forest of Secrets where the Fairies live. Oberon a bad Fairy and king of the Fairies, but he is also leader of the bad Elves and lives in the underworld.

The Quarrel of Oberon and Titania

Children that are dreaming between real sleep and being awake go to the outer world and the beings look after them and feed their dreams. The children give different names to the mountains and forests, and how the children see the outer world is the way the Beings see it at that time. A day in the outer world is but the blink of an eye in real time. Imagination is the key word along with belief, and the outer world is only as real as your own imagination.

The places to remember in the outer world are, The Forest of Secrets, The Purple Mountains, and The Hidden Land that is surrounded by a giant wall. It is your imagination that gives these places life, and it is your imagination that gives them form in your mind. There is the Twin Falls, with the gateway to the underworld between them. The lake called, The Drinking Cup to the Gods, because of its shape, and of course the Spire of time. These places are in all of the outer worlds in the entire universe, but their position might change a little.

It is a magical land where peace prevails, until the Evil Gods bring chaos for a while. Marina and the Warrior amass large armies of Elves and Fairies to clear the outer world of these unwanted Gods. I cannot say too much about the outer world at this point, because it would give too much of the Marina stories away. I will put a small part of Marina’s story in the blog at sometime in the future.

Be well Ian.
